With over 20 years of experience under her belt, Lisa is far from new to the industry. From the beginning of her career, Lisa has been known for her crisp vision of contemporary style. From early on, she indulged herself in the philosophies of Vidal Sassoon, Toni & Guy, Schwarzkopf and L’Oréal and has remained known for her meticulous attention to detail. Her approach would be described as creative yet pragmatic, taking into consideration the aesthetic, personality and lifestyle of each individual client. Her ‘tell it how it is’ approach will be sure to put a smile on your face and her ‘in depth’ knowledge of haircolour is sure to impress the greatest of skeptics.
After being nominated as a finalist in the prestigious ‘North American Hairstyling Awards’ in the ‘Haircolourist of the Year’ category in 2008, Lisa turned her focus towards educating professionals how to advance their skills in haircolour. For over 10 years she has leant her artistic direction to the American company Product Club, and has traveled from coast to coast sharing her expertise with professionals all over the nation. She can be found conducting intimate ‘hands on’ workshops or presenting on stages in front of hundreds of spectators in such cities as New York, Chicago and Los Angeles.
Her reputation as being a ‘perfectionist’ has gained her the opportunity doing hair behind the scenes at TFW and Fashion Cares. Her work has been showcased in such publications as Flare, Fashion, Vogue, Colorist Magazine and Salon Magazine. As the personal colourist to Canadian celebrity Sarah Gadon, Lisa’s haircolour has been seen in such films as Maps to the Stars, Dracula Untold, Indignation and The Death and Life of John F. Donovan, and television series such as 11.22.63 and Alias Grace.

Melanie began her hair extension career over 12 years ago. Having extremely thin hair herself she realized the amazing effects that hair extensions had on her own self confidence. She wanted to provide this service to more women. She was determined to find the best quality of hair extensions and continually researched new extension technology. She sampled hair extensions from around the world until she knew she had found the best quality of hair and could offer her clients a superior product and service than anyone else. That is when she created Hair Flair Extensions. Hair Flair was the first company in Canada to offer Nanolink Extensions which is the smallest and most discrete type of hair extensions available today.
As Melanie continued to perfect her skills she noticed a lack of properly trained professionals in hair extensions. Digging deeper she found that what was being taught in hair schools was minimal and vastly out of date. That led her to developing Canada’s most intensive hair extension training program that is taught in schools across Canada. Melanie also developed Canada’s first online hair extension training program and continues to lead an online community of hair extension technicians.
Hair Flair Extensions has become one of Canada’s leading extension companies, offering professional services & training, and supplying the best quality hair extensions in the Canadian market.
