With over 20 years of experience under her belt, Lisa is far from new to the industry. From the beginning of her career, Lisa has been known for her crisp vision of contemporary style. From early on, she indulged herself in the philosophies of Vidal Sassoon, Toni & Guy, Schwarzkopf and L’Oréal and has remained known for her meticulous attention to detail. Her approach would be described as creative yet pragmatic, taking into consideration the aesthetic, personality and lifestyle of each individual client. Her ‘tell it how it is’ approach will be sure to put a smile on your face and her ‘in depth’ knowledge of haircolour is sure to impress the greatest of skeptics.
After being nominated as a finalist in the prestigious ‘North American Hairstyling Awards’ in the ‘Haircolourist of the Year’ category in 2008, Lisa turned her focus towards educating professionals how to advance their skills in haircolour. For over 10 years she has leant her artistic direction to the American company Product Club, and has traveled from coast to coast sharing her expertise with professionals all over the nation. She can be found conducting intimate ‘hands on’ workshops or presenting on stages in front of hundreds of spectators in such cities as New York, Chicago and Los Angeles.
Her reputation as being a ‘perfectionist’ has gained her the opportunity doing hair behind the scenes at TFW and Fashion Cares. Her work has been showcased in such publications as Flare, Fashion, Vogue, Colorist Magazine and Salon Magazine. As the personal colourist to Canadian celebrity Sarah Gadon, Lisa’s haircolour has been seen in such films as Maps to the Stars, Dracula Untold, Indignation and The Death and Life of John F. Donovan, and television series such as 11.22.63 and Alias Grace.
“There is nothing better than bringing new concepts and ideas back to my clients and having them embrace it…. I still get butterflies.”
Since a very young age Rebecca Del Conte knew her calling. Adamant that one day she would become a sensational stylist, she practiced hair cutting and colouring on whomever she could exercise her creative vision.
This year she has partnered with The Good Ones Academy, taking educational workshops and editorial opportunities. Recently, she’s worked backstage at ROOTS Northern Light Fashion Show and Toronto’s Fashion Week styling models for 7 runway shows including Narces, Lucian Matis and Bustle.
Rebecca is now working weekly styling host Danielle Graham for one of Canadas most watched entertainment news shows, ETALK. Additionally, her work with Canadian actress Sarah Gadon, has recently been published on the cover of NOW!, ZOOMER, and the Globe Style Advisor for the anticipated release of Margaret Atwood’s adaptation, Alias Grace. Her latest work includes styling public figure, Liz Trinear for the cover of October’s Beyond the Fashion Magazine, Artist Post Malone for the MMVA’s, Emily Hampshire’s colour from CBC’s hit series ‘Schitt’s Creek’ and styled Gotham Star Cameron Bicondova for the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball.
Rebecca is best known for her natural approach to hairstyling. Although she loves being creative, her end goal is to connect her clients with the most beautiful versions of themselves. “I am inspired by Mother Nature; by the way the sun naturally lightens your hair and freckles your skin. The way the salt water adds effortless wave and texture. I want to be the sun painting in just the right amount of beauty on my clients.”
Rebecca is also known for her warm and inviting personality, her listening skills, and her ability to connect with each and every person who sits in her chair. “I honestly just want to give my clients what they want. I want everyone to leave my chair admiring themselves.”
“I love what I do I get to make someone’s day. Usually about ten times over. It’s energizing.”
